Our client is an international group whose main activities include the processing of agricultural products into ingredients. In order to further develop and manage the existing volumes, a Key Account Manager Italy is to take full responsibility for this market.

Diese Aufgaben erwarten Sie:

  • Establishing contacts with new customers and maintaining relationships with existing customers, as well as managing key account clients

  • Continuous collection and analysis of market and customer needs in the Food sector as a basis for identifying market potential and developing appropriate market strategies, followed by targeted market activities.

  • Sales planning and sales reporting.

  • Ongoing follow-up of order processing in cooperation with Customer Operations.

  • Conducting training sessions for customer employees.

  • Continuous alignment with Production and Quality Assurance regarding product specifications and product datasheets.

  • Contributing to receivables collection in cooperation with Accounting.

  • Preparing, conducting, and supporting internal and external audits in the sales of food products.

Diese beruflichen Qualifikationen bringen Sie mit:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Agricultural Economics, or Food Technology

  • Initial professional experience in Key Account Management (at least 3–5 years) or in sales of agricultural, chemical, or other raw materials for the food industry – B2B

  • Resilience, initiative, flexibility, organizational talent, and digital competence

  • Confident and competent presence

  • Willing to proactively take responsibility 

  • Willingness to travel, not only within Italy but also to Austria

  • Self-discipline required to work from a home office

  • Willingness to accept and work with cultural differences

  • Experience in sales of food ingredients preferred.

  • Languages:

    • Italian (native)

    • English (fluent, advanced level)
